Halo Infinite is a 2021 first person shooting game developed by 343 Industries and published by Xbox Game Studios. It is the sixth major introduction to the Halo series, [1] and the third in the "Reclaimer Saga" following Halo 5: Guardians (2015).


The campaign follows a great human soldier and his battle with the enemy He was fired from the Forerunner ringworld Zeta Halo, also known as the inclusion 07. Unlike previous installments in the series, the multiplayer segment of the game is free to play.

Setting and characters

Halo Infinite is set in the year 2560. During Halo 5 events: Guardians, man-made intelligence Cortana and Allied AIs rebelled against their creators, the United Nations Space Command (UNSC). Structure

In 2559, the UNSC ship Infinity attacked and boarded the Exiles. Atriox defeats the Chief Captain and throws him into space. Six months later, a UNSC pilot finds the Chief wandering in space. While the pilot is trying to escape, the Commander-in-Chief insists on continuing to fight the exiles. The Chief and Pilot went to Zeta Halo, which was badly damaged by an unknown disaster. In the ring, the Great King discovers Weapon, an AI designed to mimic Cortana to photograph him for removal. Although Weapon claims to have succeeded in his mission, he has failed to turn himself off according to his instructions. The Great King recovers the Weapon, and finds cortical memories and thoughts left over as remainder of the data.


The Zeta Halo is controlled by Banished, now led by Atriox Lieutenant Escharum following the apparent death of Atriox. The Chief, The Weapon, and the skilled pilot's assembly disbanded the UNSC troops in the ring area. Within the installation of the Forerunner known as the Conservatory, the Master Chief meets Despondent Pyre, the AI ​​guardian of Zeta Halo. Depressed Pyre tries to warn the General Manager about the threat posed by the installation, but is thwarted by Harbinger, an alien resurrected by the Exiles. Harbinger says its people, Endless, have been arrested by Zeta Halo leaders. He has joined forces with the exiles to rebuild the environment that will allow him to liberate his people.


The pilot reveals that he was an illegal engineer aboard the Infinity who stole a Pelican fleeing war. The chief comforts him, admitting that he is guilty of failing to save Cortana. Chief Master and Weapons stop the Zeta Halo repair process by disabling a series of soaps in the ring. When Harbinger tries to hijack a Weapon, the Head activates a filter for failing to clear AI. Weapon dismisses Harbinger and makes the failsafe ineffective, angrily asking why the Master Chief does not trust him. After seeing the vision in which Cortana uses the Guardians to destroy the Brutes home of Doisac, Weapon recognizes that it is a copy of Cortana, and insists that the Supreme Lord remove him so that he does not resemble his predecessor; The Great Teacher refuses to do this, saying that he wants to trust her. The pilot was captured by Jega R'domnai, an Elite Spartan assassin and a close friend of Escharum as the screen of the Chief. Unwilling to let the pilot die, the Chief enters the Chased Center and rescues him, killing Jega R'domnai and Escharum during the process.

The Chief and the Weapon are in a hurry to stop Harbinger. The two learned that Cortana was captured by Atriox after Weapon shut him down; when he realized that Atriox intended to use the ring, he destroyed himself, damaged the Zeta Halo, and prevented the weapon from being removed. In a recorded message, Cortana bids farewell to the Chief and urges him to work with the Weapon. The boss defeats Harbinger, but can't stop him from contacting anyone about Endless. After that, Weapon and Head reunite with Pilot, who reveals that his real name is Fernando Esparza. Sikhali decides to choose a name for himself.


In the post-credits market, Atriox uses the key to open a closed door, leading to Endless. Once the game is over with Legendary difficulty, the episode features a conversation between Despondent Pyre and the Forerunner Grand Edict about the Endless imprisonment. When Despondent Pyre says he can't handle Endless reading alone, Grand Edict responds that AI Offensive Bias was used to help him.


Progress

Developer 343 Industries produced Halo 4 (2012) and Halo 5: Guardians as part of the "Reclaimer Saga", a series of games originally designed as a trilogy.
